What Our Autel Nano Lite Demo Model Taught Us….Thank you AutelRobotics and Autel Authorized Dealers

  • Where you placed the connection port to the mobile device is perfect!
  • Solid feel of the controller
  • Camera filters are included in the package and not an afterthought, after market sale
  • Why don’t all manufacturers build the antennae arm into where the mobile device is placed? Great mechanical engineering!
  • The drone will be super duper for travel in the nice soft, lightweight travel pack.

What’s Included in the Autel Nano and the Nano Plus?

We asked our team at 1UP Drones to highlight the best features from each of these new drones, currently available in our online store.

Autel Evo Nano

This hot new drone only weighs about half a pound, easily fitting into a backpack or pocket, but it packs powerful features to facilitate exceptional, professional video and images. The Autel Evo Nano comes standard with a 48MP camera that can easily record ultra-sharp 4k/30 fps HDR video, with a 3-axis mechanical gimbal enabling the user to obtain smooth footage in all manner of conditions.

Still photos will be exceptional with its 1/1.28 inch 50MP camera, at 2.44 um Pixel, featuring a CMOS sensor and RYYB color filter array design. Follow moving objects to capture amazing images with the PDAF+CDAF autofocus system.

The Autel Evo Nano easily pairs with the Autel Sky App and the Autel SkyLink image transmission system. The Evo Nano is also the first drone of its size to offer an advanced obstacle avoidance system, helping you protect your valuable investment from harm. A 30-minute battery life provides lots of time for artistic experimentation.

Autel Evo Nano Plus

The Autel Evo Nano Plus comes with all the features of the Evo Nano above, including:

  • Lightweight ½ pound size
  • HDR video
  • 3-axis mechanical gimbal
  • CMOS sensor
  • RYYB color filter array
  • PDAF+CDAF autofocus system
  • Compatible with the Autel Sky app and SkyLink
  • 30-minute battery life

The difference is found in the 50MP image resolution of the Nano Plus (compared to 48MP in the Nano), which is over quadruple the resolution of the DJI Mini 2 12MP sensor. This provides a massive improvement for still shots. The Nano+ also features a f1.9 lens aperture (over the Nano’s f2.8) for even better low-light photography.

Which Drone is Right for You?

One last thing before we sign off from this month’s blog; if you are an enterprise or professional don’t forget about these Autel Enterprise Class drones.

Back to the tiny guys, for any discerning drone user, plus models always provide that something extra, and usually at a fair minimum of additional price increase. This is especially true between the Evo Lite and the Evo Lite Plus. The larger camera and accompanying capabilities provide the ability to obtain far better images than with any other option reviewed here.

Of course, the best drone for you is the one that meets your needs for the best price. But there is something about getting that extra that you may not need right now; you will always find a need for it sometime in the future. If you already have the greater capabilities, you will find use for them much sooner.
