Equipped with a full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor boasting approximately 61MP, the camera offers exceptional sensitivity, resolution, and dynamic range. Powered by the BIONZ XR image processing engine, it delivers natural gradations and realistic colors with low noise for both stills and movies. This high resolution and low noise capability enables detailed imaging, revealing fine details like small scratches and cracks, with a wide ISO range of 100-32000 ensuring adaptability to most daylight conditions.

Lightweight and Versatile

Design Designed for industrial applications where a conventional camera body is unnecessary, the ILX-LR1 features a lightweight and compact design. Its reduced weight allows for longer flight times and compatibility with smaller drones, facilitating quick completion of high-altitude shooting jobs. The camera’s 3 fps continuous shooting capability is ideal for drone mapping, enabling rapid completion of high-altitude shooting tasks.

Dedicated Remote Software Development Kit (SDK)

The Sony Camera Remote SDK enables remote control of the ILX-LR1 menus and functions from custom software applications. Integration of an API allows remote control of camera settings, shutter release, live view monitoring, and more from a computer. This integration enables user applications to link unique image IDs with drone position data in post-processing.

Easy Mounting and Compatibility

Accepting DC power for extended operation without battery changes, the ILX-LR1 features power and recording indicator lamps for visual status checks. Its Power and Control Terminal provides power supply, exposure output, focus, and trigger from a single terminal for instant response in remote applications.

To prevent accidental changes to settings, the camera is equipped with a LOCK switch. Screw mounts on each of its six surfaces, along with micro-HDMI, top-lock USB-C, and grouped button controls, maximize mounting options.

Wide Selection of E-Mount Lenses

As an interchangeable lens camera, the ILX-LR1 is compatible with a wide range of E-mount lenses. Users can select the most suitable lens for any shot, including medium telephoto lengths. Utilizing a 61MP full-frame image sensor, a single high-altitude picture can replace several lower-resolution images from other cameras.
